2019

We launch our convenience retailer app, MyStore+, helping manufacturers efficiently put their brand in the hands of more convenience retailers.

2018

We launch our data analytics product, DART, helping brands to release the hidden value in their EPOS data.

We invested into Sellex, a specialist International consultancy business, completing the acquisition in 2017.

McCurrach become a partner within the SSI network, enabling us to deliver sales and marketing services across multiple markets in Europe.

Our Technology division launches and we start partnering with major technology brands, driving education, advocacy and execution.

We launch our Financial Services division, providing major brands with dedicated, telephony, sales and account management teams. McCurrach Financial Services Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.

2006

We launch McCurrach Ireland, helping brands sell more in a new geography.

We launch real-time reporting, meaning our clients can gain real data-driven insights into their sales activities.We also launch our Insights department, focusing on research and data to help clients get the most out of their data. In the same year we roll out tablets for efficient working in the field.

With business booming, we expand into England and Wales.

Neil McNicol

1993

Neil McNicol first joined McCurrach in 1977, bringing with him a wealth of experience from previous roles in FMCG. In 1993 he took over as CEO and further progressed onto Chairman.

Neil worked in the business for 41 years, and led the longest period of sustained growth in McCurrach’s history by expanding into new territories and markets. He grew the business a massive 20 times over from a small, regional, family business to a premium field sales and marketing agency.

Neil sadly passed away in May 2018. The McNicol family remain the majority shareholders in the McCurrach Group.

The business is founded by James McCurrach. Our first client is the Royal Baking Powder Agency, with the company acting as a manufacturer’s agent, serving stores across Scotland.
