The Brief

We were asked by PepsiCo to upsell the Walkers and Doritos ’Buy, Scan, Win’ promotion, where shoppers could scan thier Doritos pack to be in with a chance of winning a Nissan Qashaqi car.

We were tasked to sell 100 Nissan Qashqai display solutions into Tesco stores over a 3 week period. Whilst selling in the display stands, we also had to ensure that all stores had Head Office agreed promotional compliance throughout the duration of the campaign.

The Activity

By reviewing store scorecard sales data our team of Territory Managers identified key opportunity stores which enabled us to presell the Nissan display solution as well as display stand stock orders. This ensured the displays were maintained throughout the campaign. Within the first week of preselling it became clear the team were on track to sell in all 100 displays, and as a result we requested extra display solutions from PepsiCo. This meant we over achieved on driving additional promotional sales for PepsiCo during the campaign.

In addition to the full car display solution, our Territory Managers had smaller pallet display solutions which could be used in stores where space was limited. We were successful in agreeing these additional display solutions and stock generation to maximise visibility during the campaign.
