Way ahead of target during new product launch in Ireland

We recently supported PepsiCo Ireland to launch Walkers Bugles crisps in Dunnes stores across Ireland and hit target way ahead of schedule!

The three main areas our team focussed on were:

  1. Build Distribution: Within the first 3 days of Walkers Bugles becoming available to order the team ordered 93 cases in 40 stores. Bugles was not listed on store planogram.
  1. Incremental Displays: Our team agreed incremental displays during buy in to help drive volume and NPD visibility
  1. Drive Volume: Drive volume and build stock in store. During the buy in phase 39% of target stock was delivered, and this jumped to 86% of target achieved during week 1. The target was achieved on day two of the second week.

The Field Sales team did a great job at securing 95% distribution of our NPD Walkers Bugles in Dunnes Stores by day 10 of the product launch. The team exceeded the sales forecast before the midpoint of the promotion”.
