The majority of colleagues who work with McCurrach are Territory Managers, however our Head Office in Glasgow offers opportunities in Commercial roles working with a number of different brands.

What makes Territory Managers successful in McCurrach is their knowledge and expertise in the market place. This knowledge is either gained by having previous experience of field sales, retailing, wholesale or financial services. McCurrach also recruit graduates who are looking for their first sales role and who are keen to develop skills such as influencing and negotiating whilst building up their market expertise.

All members of our salesforce undergo an intensive 3-week induction to McCurrach standards and procedures on joining the business. This is supplemented by an identified career and development path which ensures that their expertise is unmatched within the industry and that they are continually developing their own skills. Every colleague will have a Personal Development Plan which will help them achieve their long-term goals.

Our policy is to promote from within and this presents the opportunity for colleagues in the field to develop their skills either as Field Sales Managers or within commercial roles in our Head Office or Head Offices of our clients. Sales Support Analyst

In this Financial Services role you will provide analytical and administrative support and act as the communication link between Sales Force, Sales Unit and Principal.


Telephone Account Manager

In this role you will be selling a financial services product through a mix of inbound and outbound calls to a specified set of independent financial advisors.


Telephone Sales Team Manager

You will be responsible for optimising sales and ensuring the achievement of targets through the management, training and motivation of a team of Telephone Account Managers.


Territory Managers

These field based roles involve building close relationships with retailers to maximise brand awareness and drive up volume and sales distribution.


Divisional Sales Manager

You will be responsible for optimising sales through the management and motivation of a team of Territory Managers. Your role will also involve the development and implementation of commercial strategies to achieve maximum business potential.


Commercial Managers

This role will require you to work with our client negotiating contract terms and developing strategies that will deliver continuous growth.


Sales Developer

In this role you will provide support to the Territory Manager by merchandising, implementing promotional activity and siting displays in retail outlets as required. This is an excellent opportunity to build a career in sales.


Market Analysts

In this post you will provide an analytical and administrative support and act as the communication link between the Territory Managers, our client and McCurrach business unit.


Business Development Managers

These roles will involve selling the benefits of insurance to intermediary firms and helping them establish the correct policies and structures to maximise sales.


Area Development Managers

You will be responsible for managing a team of Business Development Managers to ensure achievement of targets though performance management and the training and development of your team.


Activator

This field based role involves working closely with our Territory Managers by supporting them in key account priorities, concentrating on the replenishment of stock, siting displays and Point of Sale material within a small geographical area.
